Dear Friends!

Happy New Year!  I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of you the people of Wilmore Presbyterian Church.  First I would like to thank you for the generosity that you have shown to myself and my family.  The end of the year that you gave was truly amazing and I am humbled by your generosity.  Thank you for all the gifts that you gave our family.  We are blessed!  Second, I want to thank you for your patience.  You truly gave me a lot of flexibility during this last fall.  Thank you for your understanding and support as I finished up my CPE with Hospice of the Bluegrass.  (I did pass this class and am very thankful for your prayers!)  Thirdly, I would like to thank you for your prayers as I finish up at Asbury this spring and as I take my ordination exams for the PC USA church this month.

Now I would like to place a challenge before you.  I know that for me this advent season was extremely busy and I found myself allowing my time with God to be put on the back burner.  I found that I really missed out on a lot this Advent, so as we begin a new year and make resolutions, I would like to challenge you to put God first.  A good way to do this is to join the reading through the Bible in a year.  I have done this once before and have been really blessed. I am going to do it and
